This podcast shares many useful resource websites including; The Stellar Cafe: The Power of One Word, Media College, Aviary, Webnote, Our Courts, Quizlet, CogDogRoo – StoryIdeas, StoryJumper, Zoodles. These website are all free to use which is amazing for all of the activities and tools available. I explored all of these websites/ resources and found them very useful! Web note is a basic website, its a way to bookmark topics and use a 'sticky note' to write about your bookmark. You can take notes on your computer, which seems pretty simple but it can be used in the classroom in many ways. It’s a good way to organize your thoughts. Our Courts was created by a supreme court justice. It gives you lessons about civics, but it also has games that can help students remember civics in a fun way. Quizlet is a flashcard site, you create your own set of flashcards about any topic. You can search and download others flashcards and vice versa. You can share your flashcards with the students. The most interesting part about this site is it grades your answers! I could have definitely used this website all through elementary school.
